Mentorship Programs

Our Mentorship Programs give youth something many of us wished we had growing up: consistent, caring adults who understand real‑world struggle and can show a different path. As a United States Veteran and former troubled youth, I design these programs so young people learn how to lead, not follow negative influences. Every mentoring track connects personal growth with safety, school success, and future planning.
Youth Leadership Development sits at the core of this work. Using a structured kit of guides and activities, we help teens practice real leadership skills-communication, decision‑making, planning, and standing strong under peer pressure. They lead small projects, learn to speak up respectfully, and see that leadership is about service, not popularity.
Career Guidance supports teens who are starting to ask, "What comes after high school?" Through an informative workbook, we walk them step by step through career exploration, goal planning, and the education or training each path requires. Youth leave with clearer direction and practical next steps, instead of vague dreams.
Our Peer Mentoring tools show students how to support each other in positive ways. Youth learn how to listen, encourage, and hold one another accountable, which helps shift friend groups away from risky behavior and toward shared success.
Personal Growth Coaching uses a self‑guided journal and resource set to help youth reflect on their choices, emotions, and values. This private space for writing pairs with mentor check‑ins so they can process stress without turning to the streets.
Conflict Resolution Training and Goal Setting Workshops round out the program. With hands‑on exercises, youth practice calming themselves, solving disagreements without violence, and creating written goals with action steps and timelines. Parents gain comfort knowing their child is building the mindset, skills, and support network needed to stay out of trouble and move toward graduation, work, or college with purpose.
